After 14 years of marriage and three kids, my body had changed. I wasn't severely overweight - in fact, I looked fine in clothes. But I didn't like how soft I'd become. I felt fat and unattractive and was dreading the big 4-0, which was only a few years away.
It was my sister who saved me. She started the Body-for-LIFE Challenge, and 12 weeks later, this mother of three had completely transformed her body. I thought, "If she can do it with three kids, working full-time, so can I." I decided to enter the challenge, too.
By week 12, I'd shrunk from a size 8 to a 1. My body fat percentage went from 20 percent to 13 percent. I was amazed at what I had achieved - I felt stronger and more powerful than ever before. I was different person, not just on the outside but also on the inside. And despite my exhausting schedule, now I had the stamina to keep up with my hectic life.
